Dr Dmitry Novikov is a group analyst and a psychoanalytic psychotherapist. He trained at the Institute of Group Analysis, London. Dmitry qualified as a medical doctor in Moscow in 1999 and after completing his PhD in psychoneuroimmunology began working as a psychiatrist and psychotherapist across hospital and community settings, and in private practice in Russia, Germany and the UK. Dmitry has special expertise in supporting healthcare professionals, whose lives have been affected by their experiences in clinical practice. He provides psychoanalytic supervision and thinking space for therapists and doctors from all fields of medicine. Dmitry has more than 20 years experience of helping people who find it hard to relate and connect with others. He offers consultation and treatment for a range of problems which include developmental trauma, disrupted attachments, depression and anxiety, and to jointly explore problems which are difficult to put into words. I am a Group Analyst, Training Group Analyst, Qualified Clinical Supervisor and Organisational Consultant. I am based in central Brighton, 15 minutes walk from the station. I offer both once and twice weekly Group Psychotherapy, individual Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy and Emotional Freedom Technique. I also offer clinical supervision to individuals and organisations.
