I have devoted several decades working in different organisational and mental health settings including my private practice. I am an individual psychotherapist and Training Group Analyst and work with individuals, groups, couples and staff teams from a diverse range of cultural and professional backgrounds, in the public and private sector. I am a BAPPS, IGA and UKCP accredited supervisor. I offer supervision, reflective practice, consultations and mentoring. My overall approach is relational and psychoanalytic. My other theoretical reference points are based on attachment theory, Jungian, integrative and group analytic and systems theories. I hope to help people move towards a deeper understanding of themselves and others, and to explore ways of resolving their individual, social or work-related concerns which often occur in context of their social environments. My approach entails a shared commitment helping people achieve psychological development, so that when the work comes to an end, they continue to benefit from the experiences. I have an interest in all aspects of creativity, in communities and cultural diversity. I work in English and German. I facilitate a once weekly psychotherapy group at the IGA, Tuesday evening: 6.15 to 7.45 pm, a fortnightly supervision group and I assist (enable) work discussion groups. I work face to face and online. For further details please visit my website: www.margotschiemann.com.
